Welcome to Johnson Gallery's first ever Gala Fine Art Auction. We have never had an event that has created so much interest and excitement.
When we conceived the idea of a fine art auction, we had hoped to fill a niche for resale art. However, the enthusiasm of both artists and collectors has been overwhelming, allowing us to hold a auction of first caliber art, new and ³already-appreciated². Our catalog is full of impressive offerings by known local artists like Richard Yaco, Ned Long, Miguel Dominguez, Paula Zima, Joanne Ruggles and Robert Reynolds. But don¹t overlook great new work by Alyce Broome, Mary Mata, Anett Kennedy, Marlin Harms and Kari Appleton. All these pieces, and more, will go to th highest bidder. Where else can you buy original art and choose your price?!
Selected art will be on display in the Carriage House beginning September 13. All the pieces will be available for preview on the day of the auction from 9:00 to noon. If you can¹t be here to bid on your piece, we have set up absentee and phone bidding procedures. All the details are in the back of the our catalog.
Join us at Noon on Sunday, September 18 for an day of excitement as our auctioneer, Jacqueline Marie, sets a thrilling pace. Champagne, coffee and cheesecake will be provided in copious quantities to registered bidders, only.
